Back to business

After a long break of not writing, I have decided to give this a new try. I am still in Finland finishing my studies, working, in love and with another ten dozens of things to talk about.

But let's have a  nice slow start. I'm gonna share the easiest recipe for a Finnish dessert (pannukakku or pancakes) since I'm gonna bake it for a friend's meeting I'm heading to tonight. It's written in Finnish so I can practice it while re-writing and English for however wants to try to make it.

Raaka-aineet (Ingredients)

      4 dl    vehnäjauhoja  / flour
1 1/2 dl    sokeria           / sugar
1 tsp  leivinjauhetta   / baking powder
      1 tsp  suola              / salt
1 tsp  vaniljasokeria  / vanilla sugar

Kaada taikina leivinpaperille uunipellille ja paista 200-225 asteessa n.½ tuntia.

Preparation time 15 - 30 minutes
Mix the dry ingredients. Add the milk, eggs, and  the melted, cooled butter.
Pour the batter into the baking sheet covering the tray and bake at 200-225 degrees for ½ hours.

Wait it to cool down, and serve with jam or whipped cream. It's delicious and simple, I love it.
Will post a picture of the result later.
